This table contains information about an ongoing damage calculation. Damage reports you modify may be modifed again by the game engine if circumstances of an attack change.

integer amount

Amount of damage being caused, in hit points.

integer kind

Kind of damage reported. 0 for normal damage, 1 for a critical hit, 3 for damage greatly reduced (like getting hit with fire while wearing fur clothes), and 4 for damage greatly increased (like hitting Imps with ice damage).
